we were hoping for a smooth transition between closing on our apartment and renovating our apartment. the transition was unfortunately not very smooth. we’re learning to balance co-op rules with what we want and what we can afford. i’m learning to look beyond the pretty and into the more technical aspect of renovations. i have to admit, i’ve zoned out on several conversations.
