I was opposed to first meeting pictures because I wanted our first meeting to be the moment where I walk down the aisle.  When our photographer suggested it, I immediately rejected the idea and he told us to think about it.  Although we have yet to plan the day, we already know how little time we have. I was willing to sacrifice anything but that moment where we will see each other for the first time right before we get married.

I changed my mind. It’ll be fun to have that moment to ourselves (along with photographers, a videographer, and I suppose anyone else who’s around) and as Kathy pointed out we won’t lose the shots if the intended purpose was to capture our first meeting.

I fell in love with the idea after I watched this video by 31 Films. I watched several wedding highlights that captured couples’ first meeting but this is by far my favorite.

I love the way they captured both moments and combined it into one.
